Dear Delegates,
Throughout my six years of participating in Model United
Nations conferences worldwide, I have witnessed us
enduring a pandemic and experiencing the highest level
of digitisation and AI automation ever. The research
approach for these conferences has significantly evolved
from when I began. I used to have research binders
containing 300 pages of content, of which I would utilise
only 50. Today, those 50 pages of useful content can be
accessed through a single prompt, provided one knows
how to put together the right questions. Knowing the
right questions to ask is crucial for gaining information
that can significantly influence our actions based on the
knowledge we acquire from the responses. The
vagueness of answers provided in response to a question
can be attributed to unclear areas that await unveiling.
Delegates, it is my honour to welcome you to
ACMUN'25. Theintroduction was merely to help you
understand that you have every way to attain
information that can be beneficial for your research
today. What you do with the information that you've
attained is what determines your tomorrow.
I wish you the best, delegates. I hope you make
the world 'an offer they can't refuse.'
Yours Sincerely,
Algin Thomas
