A Brief Walkthrough
It was on a misty morning in November of 2019 that an idea sprung in the
mind of our former Principal, Rev. Fr. Benny Mathew; one that would grow to
embrace and impart to students the values of healthy debate ; one that would be
executed most faithfully and with utmost diligence under the able leadership of our
Principal, Rev. Fr. Thomas Manakuzhiyil. ACMUN, over the course of its six editions,
has held debate on the most relevant issues of today, while also preparing delegates
for the multi-faceted crises that tomorrow will bring upon our young leaders. While
the dark days of the pandemic caught us unawares, we stayed committed to our
vision as we hosted our first-ever National Level Model UN Conference in 2021.
As the world faces increasingly protracted conflicts, with cultural identities
being threatened, income inequality soaring higher than ever, and a broader shift
towards a multipolar world, join us as we, with greater enthusiasm than ever, host
the next generation of thought leaders and change makers to come together to
decipher, deliberate and discuss the hostilities in our society, and attempt to
resolve the defining crises of our times.
Welcome to ACMUN 2025.

Real knowledge is of no value until you put it into practice
- Anton Chekhov
The world around is a more interconnected one than has ever been. All of us have a distinct voice, one that we utilize to express ourselves. Beyond technical skills, communication and the ability to negotiate are what dictate the dynamics in today's milieus.

Message From Secretary General

Dear Delegates,
Throughout my six years of participating in Model United
Nations conferences worldwide, I have witnessed us
enduring a pandemic and experiencing the highest level
of digitisation and AI automation ever. The research
approach for these conferences has significantly evolved
from when I began. I used to have research binders
containing 300 pages of content, of which I would utilise
only 50. Today, those 50 pages of useful content can be
accessed through a single prompt, provided one knows
how to put together the right questions. Knowing the
right questions to ask is crucial for gaining information
that can significantly influence our actions based on the
knowledge we acquire from the responses.......
